Prayers for the Mid East Turmoil
Please pray for all people in Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Cyprus, Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Morroco, Lybia and any other country involved with terroristic conflict.
Lord,
Let there be peace in all the minds and heart of all people consumed with conflict.
Let the children of these be safe.
Let the leaders of these factions and countries find a way to stop hurting each other.
Let the followers of ISLAM see that hate and destruction are not a means to an end.
Save the souls of those who have been innocents in these conflicts.
Comfort those who remain alive on earth.
Subdue those who seek to destroy and dominate the world with their ideologies.
Lead them Lord, with your grace, for all is possible with you, to the light of your love, the comfort of your compassion, and the wisdom of your spirit.
Stand by your peoples and lovers of your word.
Holy Spirit,
Move in the world to end the conflicts that trouble so many countries and peoples.
Lead those who can change the dynamics of these conflicts to see and create an end to these troublesome efforts to conquer and dominate.
Lead those to safety who seek it in the face of terror, conflict and war.
Stop all wars. Bring all conflicts to an end.
Help all to see a way to live together.
Jesus,
Forgive those who have killed, those who have destroyed others lives - from either sides of any conflict.
Have mercy on us all, and on the whole world.
The world needs a stronger presence of your love and Spirit.
Lead mankind to see it and embrace it.
In your name, I pray.
Amen

Prayers for Pope John Paul II
Holy Father,
Thank you for your example. Thank you for your gifts. Thank you for your love.
Thank you for your steadfastness and your clarity in teaching. Thank you for your leadership.
Let your presence during your time on earth and office of Pope be a guiding light to me. I never met you, but feel your love. The mystery of your love is one of faith and grace from God Almighty.
I will be moved forever by your work and teaching. May God bless you and receive you in heaven. You served Him true and very well on during your Earthly passage.
+ In the name of Jesus + In the Name of the Father + In the name of the Holy Spirit + In the name of Mary, the Holy Mother of God +
Amen

Prayer for the world...
Pray for the world. The world seems more and more consumed with itself. More and more tragedy seems to be lost to the incessant news media cranking out more live drama of more tragic scenes around the world.
As we become more anesthesized to the pain and suffering in the world, the pace of that same suffering seems to be increasing. The movement of the earth's plates, waves, and eruptions are seeming to be on the rise. Man's moral sensitivity and compass seems to be whirling out of control.
My prayers are for the suffering of the world. For those who cannot pray for themselves due to their own suffering. For those who do not know the depths of their suffering. For ourselves who cannot even connect with that suffering in the world. The pain of the world is immense. The suffering in the world is unfathomable.
Only God's infinite mercy can understand it, have patience with it, and love it. It seems as though even with the number of "christians" in the word, only some of them seem to "get it" about the darkness in the world. The Catholics are closer to understanding this suffering, it seems because they are more forthright about it, and have been dealing with it for 2000 years, and directly from the mouth of Jesus.
I am so saddened by this pain, I beg for God's grace for this world, and those in it; for his mercy; and for His healing of it. There must be some good to it. Maybe the extent of it will wake some people up so that they begin to pray.
I pray for all people to begin praying in what ever way they know to push the darkness, cynicism, banality, insensitivity, blindness, deafness, and unknowing back into their corners forever. Let the evil that encourages those elements of darkness be vanquished, and dispelled forever, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Lord Jesus, I trust in YOU. Eternal Father, I offer you the body and blood, soul and divinity of your most beloved son our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Lord, can you hear them crying? Can you feel their pain, and pangs of hunger, their fear of the future, the oppression of their own races, in inequities of their lives...
This prayer is not meant to be one of hopelessness, but of encouragement; one to overcome sadness and loss of hope; one to renew life' one to reach out to feel and live; heal and hope...
Lord her my prayer and lift us all.
Amen

Prayers for those who cannot pray
Lord, hear our prayer for those who cannot pray,
who have not the knowledge of prayer,
who know not the separation in which they live.
Let your grace bless them and lift them to a knowing of your loving nature.
Let them love you as you created them to do.
Lord find them, and lift them - bring them close to you.
Forget not those who hate you and live in fear of you.
Remove their separateness and their belief in it so they might find comfort in your love.
Lord, save the world. Heal the pain in the world
Lord help all to see the oneness of mankind.
Lead them to peace.
Amen

Prayers for the violent ways of the terrorists
Lord, have mercy on the ignorance, darkness, hate, rage, lack of love, and the inability to see another human as a brother experienced by those in Iraq who committed the barbaric atrocities of beheading another human being, on video, for the purpose of retaliation of unmet demands, and all other violent bombings, shootings and other killing.
Lord forgive us as a humankind. Forgive us for seeing each other as separate from each other. Lord, forgive us for seeing us as separated from YOU.
Restore us Lord to oneness with you. Restore those committing murder in the name of Allah to the sanity of Love.
Lord, send your grace to more people who will take up the cause of prayer for those failed hearts who seek only to destroy as a result of their own fear and hate. Let more people find in their hearts the call to prayer. Let them see the higher cause to pray for those they might rather retaliate against them for the horrid executions of innocent men.
Let us see the way of love and oneness. Let this way sweep the world and lift it. Lord, don't let us all wallow in the unconsciousness of hate, revenge, spite, fear and separation from you.
Hear my fervent prayer, let it be joined with the other prayers by others who have joined the cause of praying for the perpetrators of murder, execution and destruction. Let them turn from their choices to hurt others to get their way.
Let all who seek to force others to their way seek the way of peace and love first. Let the world be healed. Let peace come now, Lord.
Amen
